Barış İçin Müzik Vakfı, geçtiğimiz yıl ilki Salzburg Festivali kapsamında gerçekleştirilen Sistema Europe Orkestra Kampı’nın ikincisini 14-22 Ağustos tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da düzenleyecek.
Science Slam, it is an alternative way of communicating scientific content to the broader public by throwing the formal academic way of communication overboard. The focus is to make science understanable and touchable again and to to share the excitement and the beauty of research that cannot be found in scientific publications. Science Slam is a new and growing culture, which has found its home in many European university towns.
Atomic force microscope-based infrared spectroscopy (AFM-IR) has been developed in recent years providing extremely high spatial resolution chemical characterization and imaging. The technique is based on the combination of a tunable infrared laser with an atomic force microscope that can locally map and measure thermal expansion of nanoscale regions of a sample resulting from the absorption of infrared radiation.
Dr. Luis Alejandro Salicrup, Senior International Cancer Research Specialist at the Center for Global Health at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), will give a talk on International Opportunities For Collaborative Research And Training at the National Cancer Institutes (NCI) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). The seminar will be in English.
